One of the most important events for the real estate industry EuropaProperty CEE Retail Awards has been concluded. The team of tax advisors at TPA Poland and financial advisors at Baker Tilly TPA remains on the lead. For another consecutive year, they received the award in the Tax & Financial Adviser category.
The finale of this year’s 15th edition took place on February 9, 2023 in Warsaw. The award presentation was preceded by a day filled with substantive discussions, as well as behind-the-scenes networking.
“The year 2022 can again be called special. Just when everyone was looking forward to a rebound after the difficult months of the pandemic, new challenges arose. This time they were caused by the war in Ukraine, its effects on the economy, galloping energy sources prices or disruptions in supply chains, combined with inflation unprecedented in over 20 years and high interest rates, limiting the availability of project financing. In the real estate market, we have seen greater investor caution, linked to the need for even more careful analysis. Investors needed greater than usual scrupulousness, safeguards and reassurance that they were making the right investment decisions. That is why the role of experienced advisors was absolutely crucial here. I am pleased that our clients have placed their trust in our team, which combines core competencies, market knowledge and experience. Monika Tuzimek, Partner in the audit department of Baker Tilly TPA, who received the award on our behalf, assessed that this year’s recognition in the EuropaProperty CEE Retail Awards was exceptional, even though it was not the first for the team of tax advisors at TPA Poland and financial advisors at Baker Tilly TPA.
